Dark brown leather Time-Life chair, designed by Eames at the request of his friend Henry Luce for the lobby of Luce's Time-Life building in 1960. Date stamped 1982. 

Adjustable height, 360 degrees swivel and tilt action.

Overall in good vintage condition. The leather upholstery is in fair vintage condition - there are two cuts in the leather which have been professionally repaired - one on the seat and one in the top corner (see photos) and there is a bit of age-related wear on the back. On chromium plated frame with castors. Some scuffs and marks, to be expected with age, but nothing which detracts.

As seen in Mad Men, this is the governor of all desk chairs.

The chair will be taken off the base for shipping overseas.
