1960s Grete Jalk lounge chair made by France & Son

Lovely teak Grete Jalk for France & Son lounge chair made in the 50s/60s, with spring-loaded cushions upholstered in a navy blue herringbone tweed fabric. Beautiful sculpted arms.

Approximate dimensions: height 82cm, depth 80cm, width 73cm, seat height: 40cm.

Condition-wise, there are some minor signs of wear, to be expected with age - a few scuffs etc, but no specific wear to mention. The wood is in good condition with a great patina, with no breaks or cracks. The upholstery is new.

A lovely example of Danish design.
