Marcel Breuer style Cesca chair

Carver model chair based on the Marcel Breuer designed Cesca chair of 1928. These chairs were manufactured in their thousands from the 1950s. This one has a Made in Italy stamp.

Described as being "among the 10 most important chairs of the 20th century", by Cara McCarty at MOMA, many of us will have grown up with these chairs.

Cantilevered tubular steel frame and beech and cane inset.

In good vintage condition.
