Set of 4 vintage blonde Cesca style chairs based on Marcel Breuer's 1928 design.

These are Italian versions sold in Habitat in the 70s/80s.

Described as being "among the 10 most important chairs of the 20th century," by Cara McCarty at MOMA, many of us will have grown up with these chairs.

Cantilevered tubular steel frame and ebonised hardwood beech and cane inset.

Please note these are not original 1930s Marcel Breuer chairs which go for far higher prices.

In good vintage condition, this set is made up of two slightly different pairs of chairs but look good together.
