Set of 4 vintage Cesca style chairs based on Marcel Breuer's 1928 design.

These are Italian versions stamped and sold in Habitat in the 70s/80s.

Described as being "among the 10 most important chairs of the 20th century," by Cara McCarty at MOMA, many of us will have grown up with these chairs.

Cantilevered tubular steel frame and ebonised hardwood beech and cane inset.

Please note these are not original 1930s Marcel Breuer chairs which go for far higher prices.

In good vintage condition, the chome bases are pitted in various places but only really noticable when you look at them close up.
