Set of 4 original side chairs designed by Harry Bertoia in the 1950s for Knoll International with original black seat pads.
As Knoll say: "Innovative, comfortable and strikingly handsome, Harry Bertoia's side chair's delicate filigree appearance bellies its strength and durability".
As Bertoia said: "If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them."
Brilliant.
Welded steel with rods in a white powder coated finish. In good vintage condition - bought from the original owner. Some chips and marks to the finish but all in all still in good condition. One seat pad in missing its strap but still stays in place on the seat without it.
