Vintage Ercol Studio Couch - blonde and olive

Refurbished vintage Ercol 355 Studio Couch/sofa bed.

Inspired by Scandinavian design, the Studio Couch was designed by Lucian Ercolani in 1958 and manufactured by Ercol in the 1960s/70s. 

This is the blonde (beech) model.

The cushions have been reupholstered in an olive green woven fabric. They are removable and the back can be folded down to create a sofa bed. This piece is in good vintage condition. The frame is solid and sturdy. There are a few scuffs, scratches and marks commensurate with age but nothing which is too noticeable.  The webbing on the seat is Pirelli webbing in good condition.  The upholstery is brand new.
