Vintage French steel Tolix Stool

Original Tolix stool designed by Xavier Pauchard in 1934.  Galvanised steel, so suitable for outdoor use.  

In its original green paint, which has worn all over giving it a  distressed finish.  Looks to have been lacquered to further protect the finish.

Two of the rods underneath have been rewelded to the sides.

An indestructible, mid-century classic.
