Vintage oak 40s 16 drawer shop counter

Classic midcentury oak shop counter. Solid wooden frame and drawer fronts with wooden handles. 

In good vintage condition. Some wear and tear commensurate with age, but nothing which detracts. The glass is in good condition. The drawers all run smoothly. The glass top has ben replaced at some point so is now wooden, making it more practical.

If you bear in mind this item has come from a working shop, in our opinion the signs of age give the counter character and are part of its appeal. 

Could be used in a domestic setting for clothes, linens, display, apart from the obvious retail use.
